Doris A. Ayotte, 79, Hermansville, died Jan. 9, 2011, at her home following a five-year battle with cancer.

She was born July 14, 1931, in Stephenson, the daughter of the late Norman and Leona (Gaede) Neville, Sr. She loved music and enjoyed playing different instruments and writing her own songs. She also loved cooking, saving recipes and traveling.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald (Patricia) Ayotte and Joseph (Paula) Ayotte; three daughters, Cindy (Bill) Callahan, Marsha (Robert) Lombard and Shannon Ayotte; one brother, Norman Neville Jr.; two sisters, Darlene Riggs and Donna (Tom) Fisher; seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, nieces and nephews. Her parents and two broth ers, Dale and Earl Neville, preceded her in death.

Friends called at Allo Coolman Funeral Home, Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 13 at St. John Neumann Church, Hermansville, with Fr. Corey Litzner officiating. Burial was in Faithorn Cemetery. Visit website www.allofh.com to send on line condolences.

Lawrence (Larry) D. Belanger, 54, Wilson, died, Jan. 15, 2011, from cancer.

He was born Dec. 17, 1956, in Norway, the son of John and Florence (Gibour) Belanger. Larry attended grade school in Hermansville and graduated from North Central School in 1974. On April 19, 1986, he married Marilyn M. Klee at St. George's Church, Bark River. Larry was employed with Robinson Furniture, DS Tech, for 10 years and also the Island Resort and Casino as a sound technician. He enjoyed being involved in the community where he was a Bark River Lions Club member and worked with the Off Road Races. Larry coached basketball at North Central and Bark River-Harris and was a referee and scorekeeper for basketball and volleyball throughout the area. He also volunteered on the Hermansville Rescue Squad and Harris Township Fire Department. He loved camping, fishing, spending time with his family and friends and riding the four-wheeler with his granddaughter and nephews. The greatest joy in his life was his granddaughter, Katelyn. He was a former member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

He is survived by his wife of Wilson; son, Joshua Belanger, Wilson; daughter, Kayla (Nicholas Starnes) Belanger, Wilson; one grand daughter; two brothers, John (Rita), Zion, IL, and Robert (Marie), Norway; mother-in-law, Sharon Klee, Wilson; sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held Jan. 18 at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Bark River. The Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 19 at St. John Newmann Church, Spalding, with Rev. Mike Vichich officiating. Burial was in Spalding Township Cemetery.

Herman Harlan Boettcher, 61, Menominee, died Jan. 15, 2011, at his home.

Herman was born Sept. 7, 1949, to the late Edward Arthur and Lorraine Monica (Wood) Boettcher.

He is survived by his companion, Sandra Frederick, Menominee; his children; son, Richard Boettcher, Menominee; daughters, Sheila Kacsor, Menominee, and Cindy (Raj) Kumar, Milwaukee; step-daughter, Angela Kisner, Albuquerque, NM, and son, Brandon Boettcher, Menominee, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Cristina Boettcher; and his brother, Dennis Boettcher.

In following with Herman's wishes, no funeral services will be held. The family invites all friends to a gathering time Jan. 22 at the Menominee Senior Center from 3 to 5 p.m. Anderson Kell Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Janise Ann Bolen, 77, Menominee, died Jan. 12, 2011, at her home.

Janise was born Sept. 7, 1933, in Menominee, to the late Michael and Joyce (Olson) Bottkol. On Oct. 27, 1951, she married Donald Bolen in St. Williams Catholic Church, Menominee. She worked for 25 years for Menominee Area Public Schools. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and enjoyed traveling and reading.

She is survived by her husband of Menominee; one daughter, Cheryl (Chris) Matthiesen, Suamaco, WI; one daughter-in-law, Geraldine (Geri) Bolen, McMinnville, OR; three sons, Pat (Jean) Bolen, Marinette, Mike (Sue) Bolen, Menominee, and Joe Bolen, Melbourne, FL, eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Joyce (Ray) Malek, Judy Malek and Sue (Jerry) Anderson, all of Menominee, and Kathy (Wayne) Grinsteiner, Wallace; three brothers, Gary (Donna) Bottkol, Menominee, Mike (Pam) Bottkol, Daggett, and Jeff (Peggy Ann) Bottkol, Menominee, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Don Bolen; son-in-law, Ed Malek; three sisters, Rita, Jean and Paula; and one brother, John.

Family and friends called at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was said in the church Jan. 15 with Father Corey Litzner officiating. Burial was in Birch Creek Cemetery. Anderson-Kell Funeral Home served the family.

Scott A. Corey, 49, Rice Lake, WI, died Jan. 14, 2011, in Eau Claire, WI.

He was born Sept. 25, 1961, in Menominee, to Edward and Janet (Blanchette) Corey. Scott was a bartender and cook. He enjoyed cooking, playing horseshoes, soft ball and hunting in his younger years. Scott was a Green Bay Packer fan and known to be quite a jokester. His three miniature dachshunds were his pride and joy.

He is survived by his partner in life, Darren Everson, Rice Lake; mother of Ingalls; two daughters, Nicole and Heidi Corey and their mother, Chris Corey; two brothers, Mark (Becky) Corey and Tim Corey; and two sisters, Sandy and Lynn Corey. He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held Jan. 19 at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home, Stephenson, from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. Father Corey Litzner officiating. Burial will be in Mellen Township Cemetery, Wallace. A memorial will be held Jan. 23 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Status Crow Sports Bar in Rice Lake, WI.

Loren K. Lerret, 82, Menominee, died Jan. 14, 2011, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Powers.

He was born July 18, 1928, to the late Henry J. and Gertrude J. (Parsek) Lerret in Menominee. He served in both the Navy and Army. On Feb. 3, 1951, he married Kathleen Mushynski at St. Annes Church, Menominee. He had worked at Lloyd Flanders as a foreman retiring from there. He was a member of Resurrection Parish, helping usher, being a server and with funerals. He was also a past Men's Club president. Loren loved outdoors, gardening and was a Packer fan.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Colleen Lerret, St. Joseph, MI, and Shelley (David) Hyde, Marinette; a sister, two grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Cleteus.

Friends may call at Resurrection Parish, Menominee, Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. until time of ser vice. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robb Jurkovich officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Keith L. Vincent, 68, Stephenson, died Jan. 14, 2011, at Bay Area Medical Center.

Keith was born July 20, 1942, in Stephenson, to the late Isador and Mary (Wagner) Vincent. On April 29, 1972, he married Edith Bird in Menominee. Keith was a dairy farmer, retiring in 2004. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Farmer Award in 1970. He served as Daggett Township Trustee for many years taking the position over from his father in November of 1967. He loved hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved his family and helping his neighbors. Keith was a member of the ABC bowling league and the home pool league.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Kelly (Howard) Fredrickson; three sons, Mike (Kathleen), Jeff (Debbie Jo) and Jim (Nicole); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Joyce); two sisters-in-law, Loretta and Judy; step-brother, Franklin (Joan) Lownik; two step-sisters, Jean Lewinski and Mary (Chet) Woryala. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Frank Lownik; grandson, Emmett; three brothers, Richard, Ronald and Robert; step-sister, Audrey Ludwiczak; and step-brother, Paul Lownik.

Family and friends called at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home, Stephenson, where funeral service was held Jan. 16. Deacon Tom Rivard officiated. Burial was in Stephenson Township Cemetery.
