Elizabeth Ann Jacobson, 77, Waukegan, IL, died at home March 17, 2010, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born Sept. 14, 1932, in Vienna, IL. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Waukegan, for over 45 years. She worked  for the Veterans Administration until her retirement and was director of purchasing and contracting at Lakeside Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Jacobson; son, John (Coleen) Jacobson, and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lon and Mabel Simmons.

Services were held March 20, at First United Methodist Church. Visitation was at Marsh Funeral Home, Gurnee.
Burial was at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 100 Tri-State Int'l No. 125, Lincolnshire, IL 60069.

Peter Paul Pesmark, 96, Menominee, died March 17, 2010, at Rennes Health Center, East.

Peter was born Oct. 19, 1913, in Clinton, IA, to the late Martin and Mary(Gramiak) Pesmark. In 1936, Peter married Evelyn Larson. She preceded him in death in 1937. On April 20, 1940, Peter married Saby Holda at St. Mary's Church in Sobieski. Saby preceded Peter in death Feb. 1, 2002. Peter worked many years for Prescott-Giddings & Lewis retiring as second shift lead man in 1978. Peter loved gardening, woodworking and playing bingo. Family gatherings are what Peter enjoyed most. He loved watching sports and was a Green Bay and Milwaukee Brewer fan. Peter was a member of Resurrection Parish and lifetime member of International Molders and Allied Workers Union.

Survivors include two daughters, Lorraine (Bob) Kudwa, St. Johns, MI and Marge (Mark) Johnson, Menominee, three sons, Donald (Gail), Topeka, KS, Robert (Sharon), Hercules, CA and Chester (Tobie), Brighton, MI; 14 grandchil dren and 15 great-grandchil dren; two sisters, Kate Gryzwa, Peshtigo and Mary Baron, Hickory Hills, IL.
Peter was preceded in death by one son, Patrick and five brothers.

Family and friends called at Resurrection Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial was held March 22. Father Michael Chenier officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sobieski. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Victoria Magdeline Stebbins, 81, Menominee, died unexpectedly March 14, 2010, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

She was born Dec. 9, 1928, in Schaffer, to the late Charles and Magdeline (Zarno) Butryn. She graduated from Escanaba High School in 1946. She became a licensed hair stylist.
Victoria married Roger Stebbins Sept. 18, 1948, in Schaffer.
She was an active member of Resurrection Parish in Menominee serving on the Altar Society and was a member of the Women's Club. Victoria was also a member of North Shore Golf Club.
She enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking and baking. Victoria cherished the times spent with her family.

Victoria is survived by her husband; three daughters, Candace (John) Fleetwood, Powers, Kim (Dewey) Bellisle and Colette (Dennis) Kloida and one son, Jason (Lisa) Stebbins, all of Menominee; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Caroline Fasbinder, Pekin, IL, and Estelle LaMourie, Menominee; one brother, Stanley (Coletta) Butryn, Escanaba; nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Renee (Charles) Wood , Cyprus, TX.
Along with her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by a son, Roger Allen and five sisters and three brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial was  offered March 19, at Resurrection Parish.
The Rev. Fr. Robb Jurkovich officiated.
Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee
The Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home assisted the family.
A memorial fund has been established in Victoria's name for Resurrection Parish of Menominee.
 
William Tebo, Jr. PDF Print E-mail
William Tebo, Jr., 87, Carney, died March 19, 2010, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, Powers, following a lengthy illness.

Bill was born July 19, 1922, in Stephenson, to the late William, Sr. and Emma (Moritz) Tebo. He attended local schools and graduated from Stephenson High School in 1940. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1942-46 with the 9th Armored Division in the Battle of the Bulge. He spent time in France, Belgium and Germany. Bill ran track winning awards while he was in the service. On July 11, 1946, he mar ried Edna Zimmerman. She preceded him in death March 14, 2006. He farmed and raised Christmas Trees. He also owned and operated Lombard's Sales & Service, retiring at the age of 70. Bill was a member of St. Bruno's Catholic Church, where he played guitar in the choir for more than 30 years, Mid-County VFW 5966 and Carney-Nadeau American  Legion. His love for music started at an early age and at the age of 12, he was playing guitar, banjo and harmonica for public events. Aside from his love of family and music other passions were raising Christmas trees, hunting, fishing, sports, baseball and horseshoe leagues in Stephenson and Carney.

He is survived by five daughters, Sherry (Larry) Drum, Quinnesec, MI, Lynn (Wayne Ciske) Tebo, Carney, Cindy (Kevin Johnson) Tebo, Chicago, Tammy (Jim) DeJardin, Ashwaubenon, WI, and Kelly (John) Janofski, Carney; two sons, William (Giedre) Tebo III, Carney, and John (Rhonda) Tebo, Wilson, 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Zalenka, Appleton; and one brother, Cliff Tebo, Marinette.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Eve Halle; and three brothers, Robert, James and Gene.

Mass of Christian and Military rites were held March 23 at St. Bruno's Catholic Church, Nadeau. Father Mike Vichich officiated.
Burial was in Nadeau Township Cemetery.
Anderson Diehm Funeral Home, Stephenson,  assisted the family.
